Summary: Off the coast of the Southern California metropolitan area (known to the Kindred as the Glittering Night) is a small island, called Caravelle. It is known to the Kindred as the Mote of Sin, a place where people can forget their cares and indulge in all worldly pleasures. But Caravelle has a dark secret: those who come to the small island of pleasure are prey for the monsters who live there.
